Mario Maggio

Founder and CEO

Before founding Ambrosia Space, Mario developed life support systems for multiple spacecraft. He worked as a product team lead for a N2-O2 pressure control system and regenerable C02 scrubber. Mario holds a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Bioastronautics from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Alabama.

Susan Gomez

Project Manager/Investor

Susan worked at NASA for almost 30 years working on International Space Station (ISS), first supporting integrating GPS on ISS and eventually being promoted to the ISS Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Subystem Manager for NASA. She worked in the private sector for the past 5 years, leading the Intuitive Machines Avionics, Power, and Communication team for the IM-1 lander, and then managing the Axiom Space GNC System, before investing in Ambrosia Space. Susan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Charlie Larrabee

Avionics Lead

Charlie has worked with high-reliability electronics for the last 20 years.  Applications include subsea survey, Measurement While Drilling, and flight-computer design at Axiom Station.  Charlie also has experience as a small-business owner, consultant, and educator for young inventors. Charlie studied electrical engineering at Case Western, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a Math minor from the University of Houston.

Arnab Roy

Structures Lead

Arnab Roy has 12 years of aerospace engineering experience with a focus on design, analysis, manufacturing and integration. His previous role was a Principal Manufacturing Engineer at Venus Aerospace, where he lead process development for advanced rocket engine technologies. He began his career at Bell Helicopter after earning a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University. Arnab gained broad expertise at Intuitive Machines, contributing to lunar landers and UAVs while completing his M.S. in Engineering from Purdue and an MBA from Indiana University. He also serves as an adjunct professor at San Jacinto College, training future aerospace composite technicians.
